i think with him books are a safe bet he's really smart, and he knows all sorts of different stories! so i bet he did a lot of reading before he came here

you can talk to him about setting up a time to meet to talk about books at the party maybe
or even contact him on your own before then if you want!
he and i have been spending a lot of time together but i won't be mad or anything if you want to spend time with him too i think it's a good thing for him to have lots of friends
