[ Mikleo feels the same. He already knows that being away from Sorey for so long is going to be difficult. However, the last thing he wants is to burden Sorey with any of Mikleo's feelings.
He wants him to follow the path he believes in.
His eyes are full of determination and resolve - yet, there's affection and love there all the same. No matter what, he wants to keep his promise to Sorey. ]
[ That's all that Sorey could ever ask for. More than, even.
He's going to follow the path they both know he needs to walk, even if it is a lonely road, but he's grateful just to know that at the end of it will be this love he's found, right there waiting for him. Just the thought alone leaves his chest swelling with warmth, a smile so deep and warm taking hold that his cheeks nearly hurt.
Squeezing Mikleo's hand, he answers in a hushed, humbled whisper: ]
[ He squeezes that hand in return, violet colored eyes meeting with deep green ones. It's no secret that he'd wait as long as he needed to. It's never been a question of if he will or won't - it's something he decided the moment that he knew Sorey's resolve.
He won't be alone. They've met so many comrades - they have family in Elysia.
[ The words -- and the increasing ease with which he says them -- further swell Sorey's chest with all that warmth and fullness he could once only imagine.
Carefully, he lifts their joined hands to his lips. ]
